Make accessibility manageable. Request access

Give your developers a clearer starting point for the fix.

AI-assisted accessibility code guidance uses issue context and failing markup to help a developer investigate a fix. Ility brings that context into the remediation workflow, including retrieval through its MCP connection for compatible AI tools.

Start with the element that needs attention.

Which element failed?

Where does it appear?

What requirement is involved?

Bring those details together before proposing a change. The actual markup gives your developer or coding agent something concrete to investigate against the implementation.

Take the context into your codebase.

Use Ility’s fix prompt and guidance in your development workflow. Through the MCP connection, compatible AI tools can retrieve issue context while your team works in the codebase.

Your developers can consider the surrounding component, its behavior, and the patterns already used by the application.

Move from guidance to a reviewed change.

  1. Step 1: Understand the issue.

Review the affected element, pages, and rule context.

  2. Step 2: Investigate the implementation.

Find the relevant source and consider how the experience should work.

  3. Step 3: Review the proposed fix.

Check the code and its effect on the surrounding interaction.

  4. Step 4: Test the result.

Recheck applicable automated rules and use manual testing where the issue calls for it.

Keep your team’s judgment in the process.

AI guidance can help explain an issue and propose a direction. Developers still need to check the recommendation against the actual application and intended user experience.

A passing automated check may be one part of verification. Keyboard behavior, focus, and assistive-technology output may need additional evaluation.

Remediation verification

Keep the work connected after the code changes.

Record the implementation decision and what happened when the fix was checked. When a related issue appears later, your team has a starting point for the next investigation.

The starting point is the issue context and failing markup available through Ility. A coding tool working in your repository can then consider the surrounding source. Repository access depends on that development tool; connecting Ility does not itself establish source-code access.

The developer should review the change against the application and test the affected experience. A plausible code suggestion can still change behavior or miss the underlying user need.

Illustrative scenario; not a customer result or a measured product demonstration.

A practical example

An email input uses placeholder text without an associated label. Guidance can propose adding a visible label tied to the input ID. The developer checks the actual component and its variations before implementing and testing the change.
